Alternatively if you ended the ride already, check to see if you are able to Unlock the moped again, return the helmet, and cancel the trip.

IMPORTANT: It is illegal to ride without a helmet. If you ride the Revel without a helmet you are in violation of the membership agreement and are subject to a safety violation fee and/or suspension.
