Revel verifies all payments by issuing a pre-authorization or temporary hold charge each time you request a ride.
This is only a pending charge and is adjusted to your final ride cost or removed completely within 5-10 business days, if not sooner.
We recommend contacting your bank for their policies on pre-authorization hold times.
Why is the pending charge slightly higher than what I was quoted?
Our payment processing system will account for potential additional fees or route changes. Don't worry, this is a temporary charge and only your final total will be posted to your payment method.
To review your final ride charge:
1. From the app menu, head to 'Receipts'
2. Select the ride you'd like to review
3. Scroll down for all invoice details and payment method used
