Riding without a helmet
Wearing a helmet is mandatory while riding Revel. If you or your passenger operates a Revel without a helmet, you may be suspended or forced to take a mandatory training before continuing to use the platform. Multiple violations will lead to permanent removal from Revel.
Sharing your Revel account
If you allow anyone else to operate a moped using your account, you will be permanently suspended from the platform.
Riding with a minor (anyone under 18)
If you ride with a passenger who is under 18 years old, you may be suspended or forced to take a mandatory training before continuing to use the platform. Multiple violations will lead to permanent removal from Revel.
Running red lights or stop signs
If you run a red light or stop sign while operating a moped, you may be suspended or forced to take a mandatory training before continuing to use the platform. Multiple violations will lead to permanent removal from Revel.
Riding on a sidewalk
If you ride on a sidewalk or other pedestrian path, you will be permanently suspended from the platform.
Riding in a bike lane
If you ride in a bike lane, you may be suspended or forced to take a mandatory training before continuing to use the platform. Multiple violations will lead to permanent removal from Revel.
Riding on a major bridge or in a tunnel
If you ride on a bridge or tunnel that is marked as off limits in the Revel app (all major bridges and all tunnels), you may be suspended. Multiple violations will lead to permanent removal from Revel. You can learn more about our Bridges Policy here.
Riding on a highway
If you ride on a highway or any road with a speed limit over 40 miles per hour, you will be permanently suspended from the platform.
Riding in a park or greenspace
If you ride in a park or other greenspace, you may be suspended or forced to take a mandatory training before continuing to use the platform. Multiple violations or major offenses will lead to permanent removal from Revel.
Wrong way down a one-way street
If you ride the wrong way down a one-way street, you may be suspended or forced to take a mandatory training before continuing to use the platform. Multiple violations or major offenses will lead to permanent removal from Revel.
Reckless driving
If you drive recklessly, you will be permanently suspended from the platform. This includes endangering pedestrians or other motorists, weaving in and out of traffic, speeding through red lights, racing, doing wheelies or donuts, riding with more than one passenger, or any other reckless or irresponsible behavior.
Failure to report an accident
If you’ve had an accident, do two things: 1) contact the police immediately and wait for them to fill out a police report, and 2) contact Revel customer service at 855-690-9180 within one (1) hour so that we can help cover any damages. If you are injured in the accident, just call Revel as soon as you reasonably and safely can. However, if you don’t report an accident when you’re able to, you’ll be permanently suspended from our platform.
